Baja California, the land of tequila, tacos and desert riding. If it’s not yet on your bucket list, it should be! Visit the place of the world where off-roading is a real sport!
After being in Namibia, New Zealand, Europe, Morocco we go to Mexico! Baja California! After riding in this amazing part of the world, all of us realised that it is probably the best adventure riding existing. Totally safe, great food, as much as off-road as you can imagine and on top some on-road breakout routes if you got enough of off-roading.
Baja – North and South
We have seen a lot in the off-road motorcycle world and rode GS Trophy events and tracks of the last years. So we know what off-road riding on GS bikes means and we all realised that the Baja has even more to explore as anyone might imagine. Incredible beaches, the riding, the food, the deserts and the landscapes are breathtaking. On this tour, we do more than only riding. We visit oyster farms, incredible beaches, the missions of Baja California and if you want we can also do some whale watching, if the season allows it. No country in the world got us so amazed than this peninsula. Either or we go from Los Angeles to La Paz or back. 9 riding days, 10 nights, one night in the USA and the most travelled border in the world wait for us. Don’t worry. It is safe and especially it is an adventure!
The Ride
The ride is simply incredible. We ride basically everything from rocks, riverbeds, sand tracks, roads and coastal roads. We are basically allowed to do everything what a GS can handle. Some days we travel on some of the famous BAJA 1000 tracks and visit remote places you never thought before. We go on trails on which the settlers travelled, see the famous scorpion bay and visit some of the jesuit missions that were built throughout Califronia in the 17th and 18th century. One of our highlights is eating the best fish tacos and oysters you can imagine. Sand, gravel and rocks should include your preparation. Riding in Baja will be one of your most epic off-road adventures.
